Transparent Mars Red is a deep and intense color, characterized by its earthy reddish-brown hue, offering unique transparency. This color is useful for creating effects such as rusted materials. The pigment comes from an iron oxide formulation, providing remarkable stability and permanence.
Transparent Mars Red mixes very well with other colors like Yellow Ochre, Natural Sienna, or Van Dyck Brown, creating rich and natural earth tones. To achieve warmer tones, it can be combined with yellows such as Light Isaro Yellow or Indian Yellow. With blues like Cobalt or Ultramarine, it allows for subtle grays and purples.
