Hahnemühle Sugar Cane Watercolour is the latest addition to the Natural Line. Made from 70% fast-growing sugar cane fibre (bagasse, a by-product of the sugar industry) and 30% cotton linters from the textile industry, this warm-toned natural white paper combines strength and softness.
Its fine grain offers a velvety feel, ideal for watercolour, gouache, and wet-on-wet techniques. Colours stay vibrant and smooth. The natural fibres provide high stability and tear resistance, even when saturated. Washes, salt effects, and fine lines all render beautifully.
Natural Line papers are vegan, acid-free, and age-resistant.
